Here's a snippet into Michele's Life:
"I am a small town girl with a passion for natural hair, makeup and fashion! I enjoy sharing and receiving new tips and tricks that can be incorporated into my daily life!" - Michele Lewter
Mane Style: How long have you been natural?
Michele: I began transitioning in May of 2012. I gradually cut off my straight ends month by month until my hair was completely natural in 2014.
MS: What are your go-to hairstyles?
M: My go-to hairstyle is a twist out. I just love that my hair gains more volume and length as time passes!
MS: Do you have any holy-grail hair products?
M: My holy-grail products are the Trader Joe’s Tea Tree tingle shampoo and conditioner. Those products leave my hair so moisturized and at the same time don’t leave my pockets empty!
MS: Describe your personal style?
M: I would describe my style as Classic and Chic. I always make sure to look for staple pieces that can be mixed and matched throughout seasons. My current favorite piece of clothing is my black leather jacket that can be worn with almost any look!
MS: What clothing store(s) could we find you in, mostly?
M: I do most of my shopping online at Missguided.com and Asos.com. My favorite actual stores are Nordstrom Rack, Urban outfitters, and H&M.
MS: If you couldn’t live without one thing in your closet what would it be?
M: It would have to be my black leather jacket. It is always the first piece of outerwear that I reach for when leaving the house.
MS: Does your outfit for the day reflect how you wear your hair? Or vice versa?
M: I do find that I am more likely to add a flat twist to the front of my hair or create a slick bun when I am at work, only to prevent myself from playing in my hair all day.
MS: Just for fun, who are your top three #WCW or just women who inspire you?
M: I am greatly inspired my mother who is an amazing strong woman. Two YouTubers who inspired me to start my natural hair journey and stick with it are Whitney White (Naptural85) and Laila (Fusion of Cultures).
MS: If you could share one of piece advice with readers, whether it be about style or hair, what would it be?
M: I would say to create your own style and hair boundaries. There are no rules to expressing yourself!!
