Mane Style: How long have you been natural?

Mayra: I cut my hair in February 2015 and I have been natural for a year and 8 months.

MS: What are your go-to hairstyles?

M: My go-to hairstyle is the high puff or high bun. I love the fact that it is very simple and perfect for all occasions.

 MS: Do you have any holy-grail hair products?

M: I could say that my holy-grail hair product is the Eco Styler Gel. I use it almost every single day and it is just the perfect gel for all hair types!

MS: Describe your personal style?

M: I think I have a very simple but girly style. I love basics, but I also love pop of colors and patterns, so I try to mix them up from time to time.

MS: What clothing store(s) could we find you in, mostly?

M: I’m more of an online shopping person, but H&M and Forever 21 are stores that I frequent the most.

MS: If you couldn’t live without one thing in your closet what would it be?

M: HEELS! Heels are everything to me, like I always say, heels are a short girls’ best friend!

MS: Does your outfit for the day reflect how you wear your hair? Or vice versa?

M: I don’t think so. My hair pretty much looks the same all the time, no matter what I’m wearing.

MS: Just for fun, who are your top three #WCW or just women who inspire you?

M: My mother, because she is the best person I ever met; Jackie Aina because of her talent and personality, and Shirley Beniang, I love love love her style and positivism.

MS: If you could share one of piece advice with readers, whether it be about style or hair, what would it be?

M: I would tell them to show their real self. There is nothing better than people that show their real self through their style, hair... and plus, they will feel much more comfortable and confident.
